When looking for websites that offer the opportunity to get paid to write articles, it can be a very long, and often times frustrating experience. There is so much information (many times misinformation) online about the various websites that offer a 'get paid to write articles' opportunity, that you can quickly get confused. First you have to find a website that offers a ‘get paid to write‘ program. Then, you have to figure out exactly how you will get paid, and then determine if it’s even worth it to write articles to contribute to the website. In many cases, after reviewing all of the information and variables, it’s just not worth your time. And when your looking for a way to get paid to write, you time is a big part of what you get paid for. So, after years….yes Years, of writing online, I have put together a list of websites where you can really get paid to write. Each of these websites offer a bit different opportunity, so anyone should be able to find a good match here. Also, each site has actually Paid me. And I don’t mean they’ve credited my account, they’ve actually paid me through Paypal. 1. Squidoo.com: This website is listed first because this has got to be one of the easiest ‘Get paid to write’ opps out there. Anyone, even very beginners, can get started here quickly and easily. Squidoo is based on single pages articles that not only offer a chance to get paid to write your articles, but also increase your blog or website traffic as well. Even if you don’t have a website or blog, this is still a great opportunity just in the aspect that you can get paid to write. Their program is based on a revenue sharing program and is factored from the revenue your article or articles generate and is free to join. To get started, or for more information, visit Squidoo. 2. Examiner.com: The opportunity that Examiner offers is a bit more detailed than offered at Squidoo. The first factor is that you actually apply for a position. The added benefit with this paid to write program is that you can gain a lot of credibility as when you write for this website. This is a real advantage to someone considering the opportunity to write as a freelancer in the future. To get started on your application, visit Examiner. 3. TextBroker.com: This get paid to write opportunity is another different type of option. Here you can choose from a list of requests for an article of interest. This can really simply the process of coming up with an idea for an article. 4. AssociatedContent.com Associated Content, or AC, is sort of a mix of all of the get paid to write opportunities listed above. You can do your own thing, browse through the list of requested article or even submit previously published material and earn through the revenue sharing program. One difference with AC is you can submit new content (never published before) and receive an offer on the purchase of your article. While payment only ranges from $4-$10, it’s still a great way to get paid to write articles. If you’d like to create an income by getting paid to write online, a combination of the above websites can be a great way to get started. This is especially true if you can write multiple articles per day. Getting paid to write articles is a simply a numbers game, the more you write, the more you get paid!

How often should you update a blog? This is a very common question among bloggers, both those new and experience with blogging. And while I am not an absolute expert on it, I have had my fair share of experience dealing with blogs.
And for me, it seems that the while you don’t need to update each day, you definitely want to do it more than once a week. The best option is to create a new post 3 times per week.
From my experience, this seems to be favored not only by my readers, but by the search engines as well. Another great aspect of updating 3 times per week is you’re not racking your brain for new ideas and posts each day…which we all know can be draining at times.
Another downfall to posting each day is you may begin to run into a situation where you’re not even sure what else you can write about. By taking a day or two between posts, this gives you time to research ideas online and take your time to create a quality post.
However, if you have a large audience that is used to daily updates, the 3 posts per week concept may not work for you. If this is the case, you can accept guest posts from your readers and others in your field to keep a consistent flow of content.
This is a great alternative to creating new post on your own day in and day out. And with a large audience, you will probably get more offers for guest posts than you’ll ever be able to use.
The most important thing to keep in mind is you must focus not only on quantity, but quality as well. Even if you write 4 posts per day, if the content is not quality, you’ll soon see your traffic decrease or remain steady at best.
So, in conclusion, keep your blog updated as often as possible. If you are unable to create posts yourself, ask for guest writers…and most importantly, you should never create a post just for the sake of updating your blog.
This is the absolute worst possible thing you can do when maintaining your blog because you are devaluing the quality and content you have been (or will be) attempting to build.
Another Tip: If you are unable to post and can’t find guest writers, consider using PLR content to keep fresh information. Just be sure to rewrite the majority of the article to make it your own.

Online Business Opportunities

I felt compelled to write this post because I think there is a lot of misconception when it comes to how to earn online, and what makes a quality opportunity. It appears that many feel that if the opportunity isn’t 100% free, than it must be a scam.
This is really the wrong attitude to have when trying to earn online. Actually, if you look at the statistics, the free sites, the ones that only require your ‘time’, are more likely to rip you off than any paid site or program.
And while my site is focused on the free opportunities, you must understand that there are many other paid options out there that work when looking to earn online too!
Even after the large amount of research and testing I’ve done on so many free opportunities, I have actually spent money on paid programs that interested me. Mainly due to the fact of perceived value, I admit, but 9 times out of 10, I did learn something new!
And although I didn’t strike it rich with the ideas, it was worth the $10-$30 I spent on each e-book or program. And that’s really what you need to strive for…learning new things, new angles and new approaches that you may not have thought of to earn online.
For instance, the most recent e-book I purchased was 6 Figure Freelancer, based on freelance writing, and I was really happy with the small fee I paid for it. I think he could actually get more for it (because it’s worth more) but that’s just me.
I have been a freelance writer for years, but after reading the e-book, I got right to work on a few options I hadn’t considered. And yes, I made more money in a lot shorter time than I would have if I’d gone on a research mission of my own.

There's no doubt that IM Report Card provides a great opportunity to make some extra cash online....but it's NOT for everyone. As you can see above, it's categorized as an 'Extra Cash Opportunity', and in almost every case, that's exactly what it is. {If you're not yet familiar with IM Report Card, here's a brief overview From Their Site: ' IM Report Card is the only Internet marketing community that's updated daily with new and unbiased reviews of popular Internet marketing (business opportunities) products, services and people.
Get the real scoop before you buy, grade products you're familiar with, report scams, add comments and share your experiences, and get paid just for participating.'} Ok....back to the review. Now, I have seen A Ton of internet marketer out there (mostly amateurs I'm sure) promoting IM Report Card as more of a 'business opportunity' or a way to 'Make A Ton Of Cash Online', which are both completely misleading. Now, the reason they are doing this is because they can earn from each of their referrals that joins IM Report Card. Fair enough, that's a legitimate reason....but the misleading of others is completely unacceptable! So, here's the REAL scoop on IM Report Card: ~ This opportunity is geared toward EXPERIENCED Internet Marketers The whole concept behind IM Report Card is to share your Experience with other on various business opportunities, online products and services, etc. So if you have No Experience, it's going to be very difficult to rate and write reviews, which is HOW you get paid! ~ The idea that you can make a ton of cash is Crazy You are looking at .50 to 1.50 for reviews (ratings are only worth a few cents), so you would need to be Very Experienced to be able to write enough review, honest and fair reviews that is, to make a large amount of cash. Realistically, you'd be doing Very Good to make an extra $100/month...and that would take quite a bit of time to do! ~ You Must write HONEST reviews Don't just write reviews to get an extra buck. Provide Real information based on your experience. Many times IM Report Card will delete reviews they feel are coming from inexperienced marketers. So take your time when writing your review and never make up experiences! This is the most basic information on IM Report Card. It's pretty easy to figure out and I'm not discounting the real opportunity to pocket extra cash, like I said, it is possible. But it does require time, the ability to provide clear and accurate reviews and, most importantly, experience. If you're interested in checking out reviews on opportunities, or still looking to try this to make some extra cash, you can get all the details at IMReportCard.com. Just remember...honesty first when reviewing!

General Earning Online

Ok, first I would like to say I’m not knocking anyone who participates in PTC programs. What I AM saying is that I have NO IDEA why you would want to do it. Sure, it requires no thought process and you can make guaranteed money (debatable), but the money you make is so minimal it hardly justifies your time.
With the amount of time it must take to earn $1.00 (hours I’m sure), wouldn’t it be easier to write an article? Or maybe post some affiliate links in some of the free classifieds sites? And that’s just the first two things that came to mind.
There are SO MANY great ways to make money online…real money, that I simply cannot understand why someone would dedicate so much time to making pennies! If you were to dedicate that much time to an online business, researching ideas, etc., you would be rich in no time flat!
I guess the most frustrating thing about it is that so many of us with blogs and websites provide huge numbers of free ideas and resources to real online opportunities. Yet, they get overlooked and passed over for PTC sites…hmmm, I just don’t get it!
Like I said, I’m not trying to knock anyone who participates in PTC programs, if you enjoy it, then go for it. But…and that’s a big BUT, if you’re doing it because you think it’s the only ‘real’ way to make money online, then you’ve got to open your mind and look into other, more rewarding opportunities.
On this site alone there are now over 300 free ideas, opportunities and programs to make money online! And I have been to many other sites with tons of quality ideas as well.
A real good example is the Partner With Paul program. And while there are haters (like with any program), it does pay. And you even make $2.50 just to refer someone to take a look at it! How much easier can it get than that to make money online?
Then there’s IMReportCard. All you have to do is rate and review websites, business opportunities and online services and you get paid anywhere from .50-$1.50 for reviews that only take a few minutes! Beats the heck out of 50 clicks, doesn’t it?
If you like to write, see the Writing category (upper-left of screen) for a ton of ways to make money writing online. Or you could just go to Squidoo and start creating lenses (single page article) and earn that way.
How about taking a few surveys for .50-$5.00? You can do that at CashCrate or TikTikCash!
I could go on and on here…but I won’t. The whole point is that I just hate to see good people, who are really willing to put their time in, not being rewarded.
So please, if you’re using PTC programs now as a way to make money online, at least reconsider other options. You’ll be glad you did!
